Motivational Monday Message: The Country Dirt Road

In 1984, my mother purchased 3 acres of land in the country (our term for a rural area) of Waynesboro, Mississippi. This move forced us to leave the conveniences of city water and cable television to what seemed to be the prehistoric confines of well water and an enormous, NASA-like satellite dish in the backyard. But the most notable difference was the 2-mile-long, red-clay, bumpy, pothole-filled dirt road that led to the driveway of our new home.
