Greetings,
It is our honor to be on this year’s committee for the 2014 Nellis/Creech Air Force Base Adopt-A-Family/Angel Tree program. Our heartfelt thanks go out to all who have graciously supported our Airmen in years past. Last year alone, your generous donations benefited over 200 Air Force families. It is my hope we eclipse previous successes and are able to touch the lives of families struggling this holiday season.
If you choose to support Adopt-A-Family/Angel Tree again and donate for this year, we will assign you families based on your specific request, i.e., only children, entire families, and/or a specific number of families/individuals you would like to sponsor.
Our committee members are identified below. Please email one or all of us with your donation intentions no later than 22 November. If you will be donating, include how many individuals and/or families you would like to sponsor. Once we receive the family lists from our First Sergeants, we will pair up donors with recipients, and then provide each of you with the details you will need to purchase the gifts. We will receive the details on each person or family you have adopted no later than 22 November and relay that information to you as quickly as possible.
We ask that you provide a minimum of two gifts per child requested. If you would like to purchase something for the adult(s) in the household, you are more than welcome to. Each gift needs to be wrapped and must be clearly marked with three things--the assigned family number, the child’s gender, and the child’s age. In order to get these gifts to the families in time for the holidays, we will need all gifts to us no later than 13 December. Please contact us to coordinate drop-off.
