Subject: Fw: Good News
Several of our members have visited Lee Jackson at the VA hospital recently and have reported that Lee's kidneys are now functioning sufficiently that she has been taken off dialysis! While she still has to undergo "rehab", it looks like that may be able to be done at her home in Silver Springs and therefore she could be sent home in a week, or so!
Member Steve Lauritzen continues to regain his strength after undergoing colon cancer surgery. Steve tells us, that as a precautionary measure, the VA oncologist wants him to now undergo chemotherapy, however that hasn't been scheduled at this time.
