This is a very worthy
cause. Two activities that are next on their agenda will benefit Las
Vegas area veterans considerably. They sponsor the WWII Honor Flight to
transport WWII veterans to the WWII Memorial in Washington DC. This is a
very emotional and moving trip for many of our greatest generation. The Alliance
is also trying to build a Veterans House near the new VA Hospital to allow
family to stay close when one of our own is hospitalized. There is still
a long way to go, so if it is possible to attend the event or sponsor the
event, it will go a long way to helping this alliance reach its goals.
