Flag Officer Assignments 03/08/2016 06:31 AM CST IMMEDIATE RELEASE No. NR-077-16 March 8, 2016 Flag Officer Assignments The Secretary of the Navy Ray Mabus and Chief of Naval Operations Adm. John M. Richardson announced today the following assignments: Rear Adm. (lower half) John P. Neagley, selected for promotion to rear admiral, will be assigned as program executive officer for Littoral Combat Ships, Washington, District of Columbia. Neagley is currently serving as deputy commander, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command, San Diego, California. Rear Adm. (lower half) Scott D. Conn will be assigned as commander, Carrier Strike Group Four, Norfolk, Virginia. Conn is currently serving as commander, Naval Aviation Warfighting Development Center, Fallon, Nevada. Rear Adm. (lower half) Richard A. Correll will be assigned as commander, Submarine Group Seven; commander, Task Force Seven Four; and commander, Task Force Five Four, Yokosuka, Japan. Correll is currently serving as director, joint fleet operations, N3/N5, U.S. Fleet Forces Command, Norfolk, Virginia.
