Start by doing what's necessary; then do what's possible;
and suddenly you are doing the impossible.

We have a new Veteran going on the upcoming HFSN -- Glen Malsom - WWII - Army Air Corps
More info: 90, PFC, WWII, Air Corps/Air Force, China, Burma-India, airplane mechanic
In addition, the receipts of letters for the upcoming Honor Flight Southern Nevada to date have been dismal so far. The only bright note so far is that the Palo Verde J ROTC under Air Force Captain Doughty gave me a stack of thank you notes that is 5 inches high. Other than that, I have received only about 10 letters, a majority from Commander Forman and Adjutant Daugherty. I have received no letters whatsoever for the 18 Navy Veterans except for a few from the Commander to the pharmacists.
I need to deliver the letters on Monday morning so the last time I can accept letters is Saturday so I can print them on Sunday. Last time we delivered nearly 3 to 5 letters per veteran, whereas this time, there will be veterans getting no letters from Post 76 whatsoever. I can only hope that the other groups writing letters [VFW, Purple Heart, Legion Auxiliaries, and some school groups] come through so that there at not any veterans that will be missed at mail call.
